Vehicule Identification

Thanks to a very innovative solution issued by our R&D lab, STid offers now the unique possiblity  to identifiy a vehicule at several meters with a passive tag: Without battery, it is afforable and has a virtually unlimited lifetime. 

The Windscreen Tag (patent pending) - TPB - has the unique characteristics to be almost insensitive to the kind of windscreen on which it is affixed. Very versatile, it adapts to any kind of vehicles. It is very easy to install, and can then be identified behind windscreens at approx. 7m with the UHF vehicle reader.
The electronic chip has a unique ID number plus a re-writable memory. This is the guaranty of increased security. 

The UHF vehicule reader is directly compatible with existing access control systems. It has the same coomunication interfaces and protocoles than "classic" prox readers.
The reader is also very easy to install in vehicle accessa areas. Depending on the site configuration, it can be supplied with a built-in or remote antenna. It doesn't require any electronic tuning for a quick and simple setup.

Secured Mifare® System goals

• Protect the access to the data stored in the card by using private security keys and encrypted communication.
  

• Make the system highly secured by having the keys almost «invisible» : the security parameters are loaded into each reader by an encrypted card, impossible to read.

• Don’t change existing system, but use and benefit from new security features of the Mifare® technology.
