High security, a global concept
New generation STid readers that are based on Mifare Plus/DESFire EV1 technologies make it possible to use the latest Mifare contactless technologies with new devices of data securization which use all the security algorithms that are available in the following chips: Crypto1, DES, TDES, AES, etc. STid has developed a loading device for securization keys working by card with which users are able to personalize the readers/encoders in strict confidence and independence.
Those readers ensure confidentiality of the data between the reader and the computer to which they are connected thanks to the Secure SCADA Communications Protocol (SSCP) enabling data encryption (AES) and the mutual authentication reader/computer (HMAC-SHA1) before any communication is made.
STid helps you master your security
As we are confident in our capacity to provide state-of-the-art equipments with high levels of services, we have chosen to bring you liberty and technological transparency. There is no system locking our solutions neither technically nor commercially.
Moreover we consider that the key element of your security consists in integrally and independently managing the parameters related to your system. We thus help you master your security by providing you with everything you need in terms of contactless identification applications (key choice, data protection parameters, etc.).
To conclude, if you are able to access the most advanced parameters of your system we also put in place some tools that will help you manage your equipment efficiently.

STid has developed a range of multitechnological readers to help you set up security more easily in your existing systems
13.56 MHz Multitechno Range
The Multitechno range brings you a strengthened security whilst being compliant with all the main card formats, in particular with all the main ISO14443A (Mifare, 1K, 4K, Desfire), ISO14443B (Calypso) and ISO15963-2 (Iclass, Picopass) and ISO15693-3 (LRI, I-Code, SLi, Tag-it) standards. As this new range of readers make it possible to simultaneously read the main 13.56 MHz technologies it also enables to:
- Upgrade an existing technology and help it to partially or totally migrate. Thanks to this new range of readers you can adopt a new technology that is more secured whilst keeping the old one in the same building or manage different sites at the same time.
- Have an optimized management of an inhomogeneous user fleet (with cards using different technologies). Using only one reference product will thus make it easier to manage the stock of user cards.
13.56 MHz High Security Range
This range of High Security readers enables to simultaneously read and write all NXP chips: Mifare Ultralight, Classic (1ko, 4ko), Ultralight C, MifarePlus (S et X, 2ko et 4ko), DESFire et DESFire EV1. It also supports some particular products such as the CPS3 card (IAS protocol) and NFC transactions. Thanks to all these chips that can be read this innovative range of readers makes it possible to easily make technologies extend, develop or migrate. The reader firmware can be updated online through the serial link to easily benefit from technological evolutions.
Multi-applications
Setting up an access control system using RFID technology not only helps you in terms of access control, STid’s readers and identifiers enables you also to have a large flexibility of the applications requiring people authentication by mechanically and electronically adapting to different types of applications such as cashless payments, electronic banking applications, ATMs, time management, etc.
Technological migration
Our equipments are conceived to help you migrate easily from a simple technology to a more developed one equipped with the latest security levels and functionalities. STid helps you with your technological migration by giving you all its experience as a RFID equipment manufacturer.
