Main features

The LXE Mifare Plus/DESFire EV1 is a high security vandalproof proximity reader, fully compliant with ISO14443A, ISO14443-3B and ISO18092 (NFC) standards. Secured read-only LXE readers are completely user programmable with configuration cards. The LXE is also capable of providing confidentiality between the reader and the controller, either with a direct ciphered (AES) protocol or with and external security converter for retrofit in existing hardware.

LXE readers are compliant with ISO14443A, ISO14443-3B and ISO18092 standards. They support simultaneously the NXP Mifare chips: Ultralight, Classic (1ko, 4ko), Ultralight C, Mifare Plus (S and X, 2ko and 4ko), DESFire and DESFire EV1 - As well as special products like CPS3 cards (National healthcare professional ID Card – IAS/ECC protocol), NFC transactions and Moneo cards. With this multiple standard reading capacity, the reader is ready to answer easily cases of building extension, security evolution or migration. The reader’s firmware can be upgraded on-site with the serial communication to benefit technological evolutions. The new generation of LXE readers supports the latest Mifare® contactless technologies and their new data protection and security features. They use all the new and possible security algorithms of these chips: Crypto1, DES, TDES, AES, etc. These readers are also capable of providing confidentiality between the reader and the controller, either with a direct ciphered (AES) protocol or with and external security converter for retrofit in existing hardware. Secured read-only LXE readers are completely user programmable with configuration cards. These cards are made to set up card reading security parameters (keys) and all the functional parameters (protocol, led operation, protection).
