Main features

The LXC Mifare Plus/DESFire EV1 is a high security vandalproof proximity keypad reader, fully compliant with ISO14443A, ISO14443B, ISO18092 (NFC) standards. Secured read-only LXC readers are completely user programmable with configuration cards. The LXC is also capable of providing confidentiality between the reader and the controller with a direct ciphered (AES) protocol.

LXC readers are compliant with ISO14443A, ISO14443B and ISO18092 standards. They support simultaneously the NXP Mifare chips: Ultralight, Classic (1Ko, 4Ko), Ultralight C, Mifare Plus (S and X, 2Ko and 4Ko), DESFire and DESFire EV1 - as well as special products like CPS3 cards (National healthcare professional ID Card – IAS/ECC protocol), NFC and Moneo transactions. With this multiple standard reading capacity, the reader is ready to answer easily cases of building extension, security evolution or migration. The reader’s firmware can be upgraded on-site with the serial communication to benefit technological evolutions. The new generation of LXC readers supports the latest Mifare® contactless technologies and their new data protection and security features. They use all the new and possible security algorithms of these chips: Crypto1, DES, TDES, AES, etc. These readers provide data confidentiality between the reader and the controller, with the secure communication protocol SSCP. This protocol offers data encryption (AES) and mutual authentication (HMAC-SHA-1) prior to any communication. Secured read-only LXC readers are completely user programmable with configuration cards. These cards are made to set up card reading security parameters (keys) and all the functional parameters (protocol, led operation, protection, keypad management, etc.). Sealed in a weatherized and rugged casing in polycarbonate, the LXC is designed to withstand harsh environments and provides reliable performance and a high degree of vandal resistance. With its extremely strong design, this high resistant keypad reader will bring a security feeling to your offices and buildings.
